Camp Cullen

Jake had a BLAST. He shot a .22 and hit the target 10 times out of 10. He did the boogie board and the high ropes. He definitely wants to go back next summer.

Jake and I had a great time! Jake LOVED horseback riding. Moreover, he was excellent at it! His horse's name was "Bigote," Spanish for "moustache." Within 2 minutes he was riding around the corral, and once everyone was mounted we set off into the desert. Let me put it this way: The kid looked like he was born on a horse! We saw lots of road runners, deer, bats and bison, but no javelinas. While hiking in Tuff Canyon we surprised a rattle snake! Here are lots of pictures from my Flickr account. Be sure to click the All Sizes button to enlarge them.
